but anyway stiles in this episode if you read stiles as queer which lbr you do, MY DARLING, like A GAY CLUB!!! do you remember how terrifying and entrancing queer shit was if you were ever repressing/denying/lying ‘bout your queerness, bcs i remember, and this was absotutely stiles— and then a gay guy bought SCOTT a drink?!— (do gay guys find me attractive?)
and then my baby freaking the fuck out when papa stilinski rolled up— freaked the freak of OH GOD MY PARENT IS GONNA THINK I’M QUEER that i am p sure is the exclusive domain of queer kids, like even if your parent is super accepting or liberal or whatshit, NOTHING MORE TERRIFYING IN ALL THE WORLD!!!
idk, i am pretty much exclusively talking about myself here, but do you remember when you would occasionally hint at queerness (and by you i mean me bcs i can’t talk about you but it is a funner pronoun)— like you would say something a little gay sounding to sort of test the waters and see what people think and how they react— and that stiles thinks HAHA I WILL MAKE A JOKE OF BEING GAY TO COVER THIS UP— and his dad’s first reaction is just a flat out you’re not gay— and then even though he’s terrified, even though he doesn’t want his father to think he’s actually gay, the indignant/furious/betrayed I COULD BE— agh do you see his furious jab at himself, ME, STILES, I could be!!!!!!
like goddamn daddinski i am quite fond of you but who the fuck are you to tell your kid he can’t be gay because of how he dresses, who is anyone to tell anyone they can’t be gay because of any factor, that shit is not okay and it is especially not ok to tell your child no matter how huge a liar and a fiend your child is and how sure you are that he’s lying or joking
