When the clip starts, Ann’s head is in her hands, she is crushed. She is barely holding herself together and she can’t look at Leslie and she can’t look at anything and everything is terrible, and then Leslie comes in.
Leslie makes her feel better.
She talks and talks and talks and tells goofy story after goofy story until Ann is sitting up, and listening, and looking at her, and by the end she’s smiling and laughing and she’s okay again.
